The blister system offers you an optimal solution for your care and guarantees maximum drug safety as well as optimised and safe medication management.
What does patient-specific blister packaging mean?
Your tablets are sorted into clearly organised weekly blister cards according to your personal medication plan - by day and time of intake.
This allows you to see at a glance which tablets you on an empty stomach, in the morning, at midday, in the evening or at night should take. This significantly reduces mix-ups and missed receipts.
More safety thanks to the lighting system
The Omnicell easyblist® fill2light system guides our pharmacy team step by step through the process of filling the blister cards with light signals.
All work steps are photo-documented and recorded. This means that your medication is fully traceable and complies with quality management guidelines.
It's that easy with the blister cards:
When you open the weekly blister, you will see on the left side your medication plan with photos of the medicines and on the right side Your medicines.
On the back of the „book“ are the individual cups colour-coded for your intake times. The cup can simply be disposed of in the yellow bag.
The blister can be torn open like the fruit dwarfs you are familiar with. Tear off the desired blister cup and peel off the foil from the side. Now you can bring the rounded side of the cup to your mouth and take the medicine with plenty of water.
We fill our blisters with the easyblist® fill2light device from Omnicell. Here the filling is done with light and Each medicine is photographed and saved.
